In writing this Inception review, there are a lot factors to consider. Not only was the release of this film one of the most anticipated upcoming movies in the year 2011, but 10’s of thousands of Leonardo DiCaprio fans went online watching the Inception movie trailer in hopes of getting a first hand preview of all-star cast of actors, special effects just as the did with other movies like Inception. The official release date was 13 July 2010. Before you go run off to find an Inception download website, buy the Blu Ray DVD video online or retail store, or search for an inception streaming movie site, read this review before you watch the movie. In time you will form your own conclusions, especially if you have not watched Inception yet. So was this film worth all the hype this summer and did it measure up to the expectations compared to Christopher Nolan’s, The Dark Knight who incidentally directed this movie?
In this Inception movie review, I am going to share my opinion and thoughts of this film. My review reflects my enthusiasm for Christopher Nolan’s work as a master writer and director who has the uncanny ability to produce major box office hits. His movies tend to sell large volumes of tickets in theaters here in the USA and all around the world and is also why you should want to watch inception this summer in the theater or streaming online once it is released on the internet.
Now that the Inception movie has had its opening weekend and is available on Blu Ray and HD DVD, I can talk candidly about the film story and the cast behind the scenes. The weekend the movie was released, they were all kinds of reviews and media commentary about it from major news networks to primetime entertainment shows. The ratings and reviews were all over the place. Some did not like the story, but loved the special effects, while others loved the story behind Inception, but did not like the move ending. So should you pursue an Inception download to watch the film on your computer or laptop? If you are a person who enjoys riveting movies that are layered with twists and turns, then downloading inception will be a good choice. Other choices would be to find Inception streaming online with a merchant that has the full movie.
This film really is an easy movie to review and rate. So what is ‘Inception’ in this incredible film? It is the transmission of ‘subtle thoughts’ into people’s minds in a way that is undetectable. The individuals receiving these thoughts are completely unaware of the thoughts that are imbedded into their minds. The plot unfolds with Leonardo DiCaprioas Cobb who is on a mission to steal corporate secrets from executive minds while they are asleep, while Arthur (Gordon-Levitt) plays the role of a backup man should Cobb need additional help.
The object of each mission in the movie Inception was for Cobb to be lead around in a dreamworld that exists only in the minds of the executives head where Cobb’s every step is directed by an architect. The plot is based on the premise that up to this point he had never failed a mission. As the movie opens the unthinkable happens. While on a routine mission Cobb fails to retrieve the secrets that his clients are demanding of him for the first time, which angers the corporation representing his clients. The story gets even more interesting as his life begins to unravel as things quickly spin out of control. Cobb is not only the dreamworld mastermind, but he is also a distant father of two little kids that he shares a deep bond of affection with. As the movie develops, his children are seen as the object of his survival. With an angered corporation behind him, he finds himself in exile unable to return the U.S. to the kids he cares for so much. How will Cobb resolve this? (Christopher Nolan had an ingenious plan in this storyline and is one of the big entertaining reasons you will want to download Inception or watch it online.)
How will he ever get to see his kids with a corporate team of killers is on a mission to exterminate him? This is a good question to ask in this Inception review since the story centers on his ability to reunite with his family. An Asian corporate mogul Saito (Ken Watanabe), comes up with a plan for Cobb that will eventually end his nightmare. As the Inception synopsis suggest, Saito has the authority to stop the corporation in their pursuit of Cobb. However, there is one big stipulation. Cobb has to do a job for Saito that is full of high-stake risks which unfolds in a level of screen sophistication that keeps movie watchers entertained.
As the story unfolds, the mission he is to carry out involves killing Robert Fischer Jr. (Cillian Murphy) while on his death bed, who also happens to be the son of a major competitor by implanting a thought in his mind. In doing so, the corporation stretch of power and control would become so large that it would surpass that of the government. The plan is not as simple as one may think since an architect will have to build a new dreamworld which would give Cobb an opportunity to enter the mind and plant a seed thought at sub-conscious level in hopes of the seed will grow until it reaches the conscious level of the mind with influential decision making power.
At the recommendation of his early school teacher, played by Michael Caine, he meets up with an ingenious architect Ariadne (Ellen Page) a woman that can create dreamworlds with the skills of the gods. If the plan was to succeed, they needed her on their team as one of the leading partners. Hesitant at first, she decided to join forces with Cobb and began to design dreamworld that Fischer Jr. would be placed in order to carry out the master plan.
Will there ever be a sequel to the movie? Given the growing popularity of the film, it would not surprise me if Christopher Nolan has already begun plans. If he ever does, I will write a detailed movie review about it. A sequel would only begin a long series of production that would last for years.
