During Evenflo and Stellar’s collaboration to generate high quality reviews on the unreleased Revolve360 Rotational All-In-One Convertible Car Seat, panelists surfaced an unexpected manufacturing hiccup, helping Evenflo address the issue before launch.

About Evenflo

  • Founded in 1920
  • Began working with Stellar in 2019 after discovering that running an in-house sampling program can result in less diverse and authentic user feedback

 

The Goals

  • Collect thoughtful reviews and user feedback on the Revolve360 Rotational All-In-One Convertible Car Seat.
  • Ensure reviews were present on the PDP on launch-day to help generate sales.

 

The Approach

  • Stellar’s unique screening algorithm, which includes 75+ psychographic and demographic data points, allowed Stellar to custom-select panelists based on Evenflo’s criteria.
  • Car seats were shipped directly to panelists to be tested by parents and caregivers in everyday situations.
    During the two week testing period, several panelists reported that the car seat squeaked or rattled noisily when driving without a child in the seat.
  • The campaign was quickly paused as a result of Stellar’s hands-on program management, so that Evenflo could be made aware of the issue with the car seat.

 

The Results

  • The timely, honest feedback from Stellar’s panelists was used by the QA, Product Management, and Engineering teams to help them work with their manufacturers to resolve the noise.
  • Once fixed, new seats were re-shipped to panelists.
  • 65 reviews were posted—a 98% completion rate—with an average 4.7 star rating.
